Q: How far away is the beach?
A: The beach is located right across the street, just a few steps from our front door. Easy come 'n go from your room, no need to move your car. Beach chairs are available for rent nearby from Beach Rentals & More. Hotel Guests are offered a discount.
Q: Do you have a pool?
A: Our pool is seasonal. It is a fresh water pool. However there is no lifeguard, so an adult must accompany children.
Q: What parking do you have and what are the costs?
A: All parking is on premise and free to all guests. Our lot is rather large and can handle busses and campers too.
Q: Does the island offer tours or special activities?
A: Yes. Amelia Island has several special programs such as a historic tour that includes a guided ride around the island and entry to historic venues as Fort Cinch. Arrangements can include box lunches and beverages. We also do customized programs for groups with specific interest or needs.
For special island events as our film festivals, tennis matches, car shows, shrimp festival, we do make available limited special arrangement that include your room, event tickets and even dinner at a great local restaurant. Let us know what you would like to do or offer your group.
Q: Can you accommodate Senior Groups?
A: Yes. Please contact guest services for senior group rates and special arrangements such at tours and activities, including group transportation within the island. We also offer private meeting space and coordinate group affairs at many of the local attractions and special island events & festivals. Q: Do you offer AAA, AARP and corporate discounts?
A: Yes, we offer a 15% discount for AARP and AAA. Military, government and corporate rates are also available. Please call (904) 261-5735
Q: How far is the hotel from historic Fernandina town each?
A: We are 4 miles to the 'downtown' Historic District. The Fernandina Historic district features lots of shopping, great restaurants and Florida's oldest bar.
Q: Do you have smoking rooms?
A: No. We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is restricted to designated areas.
Q: What activities are available in the Fernandina Beach area?
A: You'll find plenty of activities close by: Bird watching, whale watching, water sports, golf, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, shark tooth hunting and much more. We would be pleased to make arrangements and reservations for you.

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We are sorry, but we are no longer able to continue allowing pets to stay in rooms. We do have a pet spa and kennel close by and glad to make arrangements for your pet's stay. Please contact our guest services for further information.
Q: Do you honor Federal Government Per Diem rates?
A: We honor Federal Government Per Diem rates at our hotel for any Federal Employees traveling on Federal Government Business only. Please refer to the GSA’s website for information on Per Diem rates. Please note that we require all Per Diem guests present Federal Government work order papers, or a US Federal Government issued credit card upon check-in to qualify for the Per Diem rate.
